All Nathaniel sees are Asher's eyes. Nothing else but the blue of the vampire's gaze. They're like blue flame, the hottest fire, even if the vampire is so often cold. As his own hips rise to meet Asher's in that idle, forgotten rhythm, it seems as if the flames of Asher's eyes dance before his own vision, and then he gasps as something breaks, something forms. He holds tightly to the bonds around his wrists as everything goes that icy shade of blue for him.
It lasts only a handful of seconds, his lavender eyes that same blue-fire of Asher's, and then it fades. Nathaniel's vision returns to normal as he gazes up at Asher, a moan caught in his throat.
