Asher draws a length of black silk out of the drawer, hesitating a moment. He knows of Nathaniel's fears now, knows what he likes and what he does not. But he has his reasons for the blindfold.

"I want you to focus completely on sensation, cher," he murmurs, gently running the black silk over Nat's naked chest. "On touch, on the feel of the silver sliding into your flesh." He bends, kissing Nathaniel's eyelids, before wrapping the blindfold around his head, knotting it quickly and efficiently. He keeps a hand on Nathaniel as he gathers the rest of what he needs, the thin needle he had aquired, silver-coated, to pierce Nathaniel when it had first been suggested.
