Nathaniel stills, becomes very tense, and then wipes his cheeks and nose. He tries to remove as much of the tears as he can. Hugging himself, he turns around, glaring at Asher.
"Don't call me that," he says, taking a step back. "You don't get to call me that right now. No cher or mon chat or mon jolie chat or anything else but my name right now."
He doesn't often become truly angry, and really, his anger is only ever sparked by emotional hurt.
